Please make them optional in NetSuite or select expense and bank accounts via the configuration wizard. ## Error message ```plaintext Could not create G/L account due to required fields in NetSuite. Please make them optional in NetSuite or select expense and bank accounts via the configuration wizard. ``` ## Affected ERP integrations - Oracle NetSuite ## Cause This error occurs when Payhawk attempted to automatically create a new General Ledger (G/L) account in Oracle NetSuite but failed because the ERP has required fields (such as **Subsidiaries**) that Payhawk cannot populate automatically during the connection between the two systems. ## Solution To resolve this issue, use either of the following approaches. ### Manually create the G/L account in Oracle NetSuite and update the wizard 1. Log in to Oracle NetSuite. 2. Navigate to **Lists** > **Accounting** > **Accounts**. 3. Manually create the required G/L account, filling in all required fields (including **Subsidiaries**). 4. Save the account. 5. In Payhawk, navigate to **Settings** > **Integrations** > **NetSuite** and select the **Edit configuration** option from the three-dot menu. 6. In the integration wizard, select the correct expense and bank accounts you just created. 7. Save the configuration and retry the export. Log in to Oracle NetSuite. 2. Navigate to **Setup** > **Customization** > **Forms** > **Entry Forms** or **Customization** > **Lists, Records, & Fields**. 3. Locate the required fields on the account creation form (e.g., Subsidiaries). 4. Change them from required to optional, if your business processes allow. 5. Save the changes and retry the export from Payhawk.
