You enter your email address, the screen loads, and you return to the start screen without an error message. This happens when your phone number still needs to be verified. Your app version does not affect this, so there is no need to update or reinstall the Payhawk Mobile App. ## Verifying your phone number to log in Verify your phone number in the Payhawk Web Portal first, then return to the Payhawk Mobile App: 1. Open the [Payhawk Web Portal](https://portal.payhawk.com) in a browser, on your computer or on your phone. 2. Log in with your email address and password. 3. Follow the steps to verify your phone number. 4. Log in to the Payhawk Mobile App again. You can now authenticate with the six-digit code you receive as an SMS. The Payhawk Web Portal is not affected, so you can keep using it at any time. ## Useful resources - [Adding and managing trusted devices for your Payhawk account](/help/adding-and-managing-trusted-devices-for-your-personal-payhawk-account) - [Getting the verification code when your phone number changed](/help/i-can-t-log-in-because-the-verification-code-is-sent-to-an-old-phone-number)
