# Linking your Mastercard card to Payhawk

Employees of US- and Canada-based companies can link their corporate Mastercard cards to Payhawk from the Payhawk web portal.

> [!WARNING]
> - Linking your Mastercard card to Payhawk is possible only after a Payhawk Administrator at the company has linked at least one corporate Mastercard card in Payhawk.
> - Some suppliers might need extra time to process payments made with your linked Mastercard. As a result, you may notice a short delay before you receive real-time notifications.

To link your Mastercard card to Payhawk:

1. In the [Payhawk Web Portal](https://portal.payhawk.com/auth/login), open the app switcher in the top-left corner and go to **Cards** > **Linked cards**.
2. Click on the **New** button.
3. In the dialog that opens, select **Mastercard**.
4. Next, select the checkbox to agree to the Payhawk terms and click on **Continue**.

5. On the next screen:
  1. Fill in the required card data.
  2. Select the checkbox to authorize the exchange of card transaction data between the systems.
  3. Click on **Continue**.
6. On the success screen, rename your card if you want to and click on **Confirm.**
