For example, you can add the **Emissions scope** custom supplier field which will allow your company to collect and track environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) data related to your suppliers: 1. Log in to the [Payhawk Web Portal](https://portal.payhawk.com). 2. Open the app switcher in the top-left corner and go to **Settings** > **Supplier fields** > **Additional fields.** 3. Click on **+ Add field**. 4. In the panel that opens, provide the following details: - The name of the field. - The type of the field: - A predefined list means that the Payhawk users will choose between predefined values for the additional supplier field. You need to [provide values for the additional supplier fields with predefined lists](/help/managing-additional-supplier-fields#h_ab5cffa6cb). - A free-text input means that Payhawk users will be able to add free text in the custom supplier field. - A file upload means the Payhawk users will be able to add files to this custom supplier field. - Whether this field will be required for a supplier or not. [You can later turn on or off, respectively, the requirement](/help/managing-additional-supplier-fields#h_5d2a27dc60). 5. Click **Add field** to confirm the creation of the additional supplier field. ![Settings, Supplier fields page with the Add field panel open: name Emissions scope, type Predefined list, Required field switched on.](https://cdn.payhawk.com/Navigation%20images%20Desi_20261009/supplier_fields_add_field_20261009_ai.png) ## Deleting additional supplier fields You may also need to delete an additional supplier field altogether: 1.
