# Supported payment schemes for top-ups and incoming bank transfers

Depending on whether you want to deposit money in your Payhawk account from a linked bank account over a top-up or from an external bank account over a bank transfer, and based on the currency of the transaction, you will need to use the payment schemes relative to your use case.

> In rare cases, incoming bank transfers might take longer due to the technical specifics of partner infrastructures.

## Currencies and payment schemes for top-ups

The following table shows the supported deposit methods and their settlement times when you top up funds from a bank account that is linked to Payhawk.

| SEPA Standard (as a fallback for SEPA Instant) | EUR > EUR | Up to two business days. |

| FPS | GBP > GBP | Within minutes. Up to 2 hours. |
| BACS | GBP > GBP | Up to 3 business days. |
| CHAPS | GBP > GBP | Up to 1 business day. |
| ACH | USD > USD | Up to 3 business days. |

## Currencies and payment schemes for incoming bank transfers

The following table shows the supported payment schemes and settlement times for depositing money in your Payhawk account over a bank transfer from a bank account that is external (not linked) to Payhawk.
