At Payhawk we are looking for passionate, self-driven individuals who want to be a part of a big success story.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We arе looking for а talented and hard-working professional to join our team as a Data Protection Officer working closely with our Compliance team. The successful candidate will be required to execute the firm’s strategy in accordance with regulatory expectations and industry best practices. In this role you will ensure that Payhawk and its business units meet the regulatory data privacy requirements under the applicable regulatory framework.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Inform and advise the controller or processor, as well as their employees, of their obligations under data protection law;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monitor compliance of the organization with all legislation in relation to data protection, including in audits, awareness-raising activities as well as training of staff involved in processing operations;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Act as a contact point for requests from individuals regarding the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serving as the point of contact between the company and GDPR Supervisory Authorities;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monitoring performance and providing advice on the impact of data protection efforts;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintaining comprehensive records of all data processing activities conducted by the company, including the purposes of all processing activities, which must be made public on request;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain a complete understanding of operational business processes, policies, and systems.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong understanding of data protection law and regulatory requirements;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Relevant regulatory experience in the field of data protection, data privacy and/or security;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Good knowledge of various industry practices and institutional guidelines;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication skills in English.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Company Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Flexible working hours&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">30 days holiday paid leave</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Payhawk company card</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Competitive compensation package</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Regular team-wide events</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Additional medical care&nbsp;</span></li> </ul>
