Payhawk is partnering with Egencia to help you stay on top of your business travel expenses with less manual work.
This integration allows Payhawk to automatically retrieve and process expense documents issued in your Egencia account. Payhawk will fetch and process Egencia documents for card payments to ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting.
Matching documents for card payments
If the Egencia document is for a card payment, the system will seamlessly match it to the transaction and the cardholder. Regardless of whether the match was successful, the system will notify the respective recipients - that is, the cardholder and the Travel Expense Managers for this account, if any.
Tips and tricks on using Payhawk with Egencia
If you use your corporate Payhawk cards, you will be able to process the expense almost instantly and not wait until the end of the month. This way, you will be able to leverage the Payhawk powerful approval workflows.
Appoint Travel Expense Managers and allow them to track and process documents for your Egencia payments. This way, you will be able to close the month faster and not rely on the employees submitting the expenses.
Connecting Payhawk to Egencia
To connect Payhawk to Egencia:
Contact the Egencia team and request that they enable the integration for your account. Once the Egencia team enables the integration, log in to the Payhawk web portal.
Go to Settings > Integrations > Egencia and click on Connect.
Click on Continue.
On the next screen, under Travel expense managers, select the Travel expense managers from the drop-down list, who will be able to triage requests in cases where Payhawk was unable to automatically match the invoice to the expense.
Select the checkbox to allow Travel expense managers to also view and process documents for Egencia card payments.
Click on Continue.
Click on Done.
