When preparing to connect your HR system to Payhawk and sync only a specific group of employees rather than everyone in the organization, you might find that more employees are included than intended. In such cases, review the following possible causes and solutions.
Service User permissions
If you are using a Service User within your HR system for syncing a group of employees, verify the following:
Read access - The Service User must have Read access to attributes or sections containing employee details such as Name, Email, Phone Number, and Company.
Access restrictions - Ensure that access restrictions for the Service User are correctly set up based on your inclusion or exclusion criteria. Incorrect restrictions can prevent the filter from applying correctly.
Merge selective sync
If a filter was applied during your setup, refer to your Payhawk Implementation Manager.
