Payhawk Administrators at U.S.-based companies can link American Express, Mastercard, and Visa corporate cards to Payhawk.
Ways to link your corporate cards in Payhawk
Corporate cards can be linked either from the Payhawk Dashboard or from Cards > Linked cards.
The Payhawk Dashboard allows Payhawk Administrators to link the first corporate card of a type (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) for the company. Once linked, employees can then link their own corporate cards of the same type individually from Cards > Linked cards.
For an employee to be able to link a Visa corporate card, a Payhawk Administrator must have already linked at least one corporate Visa card for the company. The same applies to Mastercard and American Express Cards: employees (and Basic Card Members, in the case of American Express) will only be able to link their cards individually after a Payhawk Administrator at the company has linked at least one corporate card of the same type.
Payhawk Dashboard
The Link your card option is visible to Payhawk Administrators only if no corporate cards have been linked yet. If you don’t see the Link your card option on the Dashboard, go to Cards > Linked cards to start linking your corporate card.
Click on Link your card.
In the dialog that opens, start entering your card number. Based on the card network (Visa , Mastercard, or American Express), the system will automatically guide you through the required steps.

From Cards > Linked cards:
Employees can link their corporate cards individually after a Payhawk Administrator has linked at least one corporate card of that type (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express Main Card).
Payhawk Administrators can link American Express Main Cards, bulk-link Mastercard and Visa cards, and assign Additional Card Members’ cards.
Basic Card Members can link their own American Express Main Cards.

Linking American Express Main Cards in Payhawk lets you take advantage of Payhawk’s automated and intelligent expense and spend management solutions, while keeping the familiar experience of your existing banking products. It also streamlines reconciliation by connecting Main Card transaction feeds directly to Payhawk and enables you to issue virtual American Express Cards linked to your Main Cards.
While Additional Card Members’ Cards cannot be directly linked to Payhawk, they can be assigned to their respective Additional Card Members within Payhawk.

Linking Mastercard cards in Payhawk allows you to view authorization data for transactions made with the card from the moment it is linked, and to receive settlement data for those transactions once they have cleared.
