Cause

This error occurs when the account code used in Payhawk does not match the length expected by your DATEV configuration.

Solution

To resolve this issue, use either of the following options:

Option 1

Adjust DATEV’s settings to accept your account code length.

  1. Go to Anwendungen > Stammdaten > Unternehmensangaben > Grunddaten Rechnungswesen in DATEV Unternehmen Online.

  2. Find the SK‑Länge field and update it with the appropriate length.

Option 2

Update your account codes in Payhawk to fit within the existing DATEV length restrictions.
