How can I resolve system issues on the Payhawk platform?

Prev Next

If you encounter issues with the Payhawk platform, such as continuous loading, slowness, or login problems, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem.

This guide also provides information on how to check for system-wide outages and additional support options.

Troubleshooting steps

  • Clear browser cache and cookies: If the platform keeps loading continuously, clear your browser's cache and cookies. This often resolves issues caused by outdated or corrupted data.

  • Use incognito or private browsing mode: Open Payhawk in an incognito or private browser window to check if the issue is related to browser settings. If it works, clear your cache and cookies in the regular browser.

  • Disable adblockers and VPNs: These tools can interfere with the platform's functionality. Disable them temporarily and try accessing Payhawk again.

  • Check if your company's firewall or network restrictions are blocking access to Payhawk, if the platform is not loading on multiple browsers. Contact your IT team if necessary.

Troubleshooting the Mobile App

Check if you are using the latest version of the mobile application by ensuring there are no new updates available.

If you keep experiencing issues with the Payhawk Mobile App, such as infinite loading or errors, follow the steps:

  1. Clear app cache and data (Android):

    1. Open Settings on your Android device.

    2. Tap Apps (or Application Manager).

    3. Select the Payhawk app.

    4. Tap Storage, then Clear Cache and optionally Clear Data.

  2. Restart your device to resolve temporary glitches.

  3. Use the web app, as most features, such as viewing card info and submitting expenses, are available on the web app. Note that payment confirmations during online purchases must be approved in the mobile app.

Outage updates and status page usage

If the platform is slow or unresponsive, check the Payhawk Status Page for updates on any ongoing issues. In case the issue persists after an outage is resolved, refresh your browser or restart the app.

Contacting Payhawk Support for persistent issues

If you have tried all the above-listed troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists:

  1. Report the problem to Payhawk Support for further assistance.

  2. Provide details about the issue, including any error messages or steps you have already taken.
