If you have registered with Payhawk with a phone number with a country code outside the EEA, UK, or US, you will not be able to receive a verification SMS and the verification of your Payhawk user has to be done manually by the Payhawk Support team. This issue arises due to regional restrictions on SMS delivery services.

To address this, you can use the manual verification process that involves administrative approval from your company:

  1. Submit a request:

    1. Directly email Payhawk Support at support@payhawk.com or reply to the existing support thread where the issue was reported. Include your full name and phone number in the message.

    2. Ensure that one of your company administrators is CC’d on the email or included in the support thread.

  2. Ask an Administrator on your company’s Payhawk account to confirm their approval for verifying your phone number. This confirmation must be provided in writing via the same email thread or support ticket.

  3. In some cases, a second Payhawk Administrator from your company may need to confirm their approval. This ensures an additional layer of security for the manual verification process.

  4. Once the required administrative approvals are received, the Payhawk Support team will manually verify your phone number and complete your registration or login process.
