What must I do if my Payhawk invitation link expired or couldn’t be used?

Payhawk invitation links are essential for completing your account registration. Each link has a set validity period, and there are clear steps for addressing common issues with invitation links.

Invitation link validity and expiration

Payhawk invitation links are valid for 5 days from the time they are sent. If you do not use the link within this timeframe, it will expire, and a new invitation must be requested.

Steps for Employees

If your invitation link has expired or wasn’t received:

  1. Inform your Payhawk Administrator and request a new invitation email to your work address.

  2. Once you receive the new invitation, follow the instructions in the email promptly to complete your registration within 5 days.

Steps for Administrators

If a user cannot register, even after receiving a new invitation:

  1. In the Payhawk Web Portal, go to Employees > Invited tab.

  2. Select the employee in question by clicking on it.

  3. Click on the Resend invite button to resend the email invite.

Notes on link expiration

  • If users still experience issues after completing the above steps, ensure they follow the registration process outlined in the invitation email, avoiding alternative methods such as in-app registration.

  • After completing registration and activation, users will be ready for subsequent activities, such as card issuance, as applicable.
