Cause

This error occurs because DATEV does not accept JPEG (.jpg) file formats for uploads. Only PNG (.png) files are supported.

Solution

To resolve this issue:

  1. Check the attached file format.

  2. If the receipt or document is in JPEG format, change it to PNG before re‑uploading.

  3. Retry the export after updating the file.
