Cause

This error occurs when the Exact Online division to which your Payhawk integration is connected has been marked as archived in Exact Online. Archived divisions are typically inactive and do not allow new transactions or modifications, which prevents Payhawk from exporting expenses.

Solution

You can resolve this issue in one of the following ways:

  • Unarchive the division in Exact Online.

    1. Log in to your Exact Online account.

    2. Navigate to the settings where divisions are managed.

    3. Locate the archived division that Payhawk is connected to.

    4. Unarchive the division to make it active again.

    5. Return to Payhawk and attempt to export the expense.

  • Reconnect the Payhawk integration to an active division.

    1. In the Payhawk Web Portal, go to Settings > Integrations > Exact Online.

    2. Click on the three-dot menu and select Disconnect.

    3. Reconnect the integration and select an active Exact Online division during the setup process.

    4. Once reconnected to an active division, attempt to export the expense again.
