When your company connects to the French Portail Public de Facturation (PPF) through Payhawk, you are assigned an eInvoicing reception address. Suppliers use this address to send you structured eInvoices via the Peppol network. This identifier is derived directly from your company's SIREN number.
Format of the PPF address
Your PPF reception address follows the Peppol network participant identifier format under the EAS scheme 0225 (French SIREN). In the Peppol network, 0225 is the Electronic Address Scheme (EAS) code designated for France, formally known as the FRCTC Electronic Address.
The identifier uses the following structure: iso6523-actorid-upis::0225:<SIREN>. For example, the address for Payhawk SAS (SIREN 949480164) is: iso6523-actorid-upis::0225:949480164.
Payhawk’s French PPF flow (facilitated through Payhawk’s partner Invopop) utilizes Peppol-style network participant IDs. Consequently, your PPF address and your Peppol network participant ID use the same format.
Locating and sharing the address
Your PPF eInvoicing address is based on your company's SIREN number, which is public information.
You do not need to manually send this address to your suppliers. Any supplier can derive the identifier if they have your SIREN.
You can verify your address in the Peppol Directory at directory.peppol.eu.
Choosing the right addressing level
Under France’s mandatory B2B eInvoicing and eReporting reform (réforme de la facturation électronique), an eInvoice can be addressed to you at different levels of detail.
Unless you need some invoices to reach a different system, use your plain SIREN. It is the simplest option, and your suppliers can reach you without any extra setup on your side.
The following table shows each level of address detail, whether it is valid under France’s reform, and which one Payhawk uses.
