A core skill is a single, self-contained task; it performs one task from start to finish, such as generating your rollout plan, connecting your accounting system, mapping a category or issuing a card.
A playbook is like a recipe. It chains several core skills into an end-to-end workflow that reaches a single goal, such as getting you to your first spend or building an approval workflow from an approval matrix.
Apart from the skills and playbooks Payhawk provides out of the box, you can build your own custom playbooks tailored to how your organization works.
