The AI Agent handles the technical heavy lifting by guiding you through ERP connections, suggesting smart category mappings for your chart of accounts, and building complex approval workflows directly from your uploaded spreadsheets or matrices. It prioritizes the critical path to your "first spend," helping you issue cards with sensible limits and navigating the funding process so you can start using the platform as quickly as possible.
Exclusively available to Payhawk Administrators within the Web Portal, the Implementation AI Agent transforms manual configuration into a guided, data-driven journey. It ensures your account is compliant, verified, and ready for use without the guesswork of traditional setup processes.

How the Implementation AI Agent works for Payhawk Administrators
The Implementation AI Agent is designed specifically for Payhawk Administrators, as they are the users responsible for setting up the single-entity or group Payhawk account. Payhawk Administrators can ask the AI Agent any questions about the setup and usage of Payhawk and the AI Agent can recommend good practices and answer any question about the platform.
Once the business details and compliance documents of your entity or group have been submitted to Payhawk, you can either click on Start setup in the prompt window or click on the AI Office icon in the Payhawk Web Portal.
The AI Agent will begin the guided process and ask you questions to identify the configuration required for your Payhawk account. Depending on your subscription and account state, the AI Agent may:
Guide you through connecting your ERP system or mapping your chart of accounts.
Help you set up approval workflows appropriate for your company structure.
Assist with issuing your first card so you can transact as early as possible.
Walk you through funding your account once KYC verification is complete.
Help with expense field and category creation.
Support the migration of subscription and accounting data from legacy systems.
Display side-by-side checklists for steps involving detailed actions, such as mapping accounts.
At any point, you can navigate back to previous steps, open the side checklist for guidance, or click on quick-reply buttons when predefined options are offered (for example, Yes, No, or selecting from a list).

The Implementation AI Agent comes out of the box and is included in the Payhawk Web Portal. It becomes available once your entity's business details and compliance documents have been submitted.
