This article answers the most frequently asked questions about Payhawk's Referral Program.
Who can participate?
Any current Payhawk customer with an active account can take part in the Referral Program.
Can I refer any type of company?
Yes. A referral qualifies for a reward after the referred company signs a contract with Payhawk, with the following exceptions:
Companies that have fewer than 20 employees and sign up for the Growth plan.
Companies that are already in active conversations with the Payhawk Sales team.

Where can I find my referral link?
In the Payhawk Web Portal, either click on the Earn €1000 banner on the Dashboard or hover over your profile picture to select the Earn €1,000 per referral option.
In the Payhawk Mobile App, tap your profile picture and select Earn €1,000.
Then click on Copy invite link and send it to the representative of the company you want to refer.
How do I know my referral was received?
When the company you referred signs up through your link, the referral appears on the Dashboard of your Payhawk account. Payhawk also notifies you by email when a referral moves forward.
Is there a limit on the number of referrals I can make?
No, there is no limit. You can refer as many companies as you want.
Is there an incentive for the company I'm referring?
Yes. Once the contract with the referred company is signed, it receives one month of its Payhawk subscription for free.
Can I refer a subsidiary of my company?
Yes, as long as the subsidiary is a separate legal entity that isn't already a Payhawk customer and doesn't sign up for the Growth plan.
When and how do I get paid?
After the contract between the referred company and Payhawk is signed, your €1,000 reward will be paid directly to your personal account. You get an email confirmation when the payment is on its way.
Can I refer a company that's already talked to Payhawk Sales?
Referrals only count for new prospects who aren't already in active conversations with the Payhawk Sales team. If the company you're referring has already been in touch with Payhawk, the referral won't qualify.
What happens if my referral doesn't complete signup or cancels shortly after?
A referral only qualifies after the referred company signs a contract with Payhawk. If the company doesn't complete signup, the referral isn't eligible for a reward. Referrals that convert to the Growth plan are also not eligible for a reward, even if signup is completed.
Can I view the referral reward in my company’s Payhawk account?
Amounts credited by Payhawk, such as sign-up bonuses or account compensation credits, appear as Bonus deposits in the Activity tab of your Payhawk currency account (in the Funds app, select your account and go to its Activity tab).
However, Payhawk pays the referral reward directly to the personal bank account of the referrer and the amount, therefore, is not displayed in the Activity tabs of your company’s Payhawk currency accounts.
