When updating an employee's email address, you can encounter the following errors.
Email already part of an invite
This error appears when the email address is already linked to another employee or invitation. Remove the employee profile or invitation associated with that email, then try again.
Email already registered in another company
You cannot assign an email address that is already registered in a different Payhawk company. Remove the employee from the other company first, then invite them using the desired email. Removing a user from a company deactivates any Payhawk cards issued under that company; you can issue a new card after re-inviting them.
User cannot log in after email update
The employee must complete the registration flow using the new email address. An invitation alone does not grant access.
