Trips are assigned different statuses that reflect their stage in the travel lifecycle. You can have an overview of all trips and their respective statuses in the Trips app.
Trip lifecycle statuses
Pending review – The trip is in the Review tab (if reviews are part of the workflow) and awaits review by assigned employees.
Pending approval – The trip is in the Approve tab and awaits approval by assigned employees. Note that this status will be assigned to the trip even if the trip is partially approved.
Pending rebooking – The trip awaits rebooking by the employee, because, even though it had previously been approved, the trip request has failed for some reason.
Upcoming – The trip is approved, booked, and it’s about to happen.
Active – The trip is ongoing at the moment.
Completed – The trip has already passed.
