At Payhawk we are looking for passionate, self-driven individuals who want to be a part of a big success story.</span></p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In line with our rapid growth strategy, we are looking for a Commercial Director&nbsp; to expand our Market share in the UK. As a key market for the business, the Commercial Director will have overall responsibility for the revenue and development of the region. This role will report directly to the Head of Sales and work effectively and efficiently to set strategy,build a team, prioritize key targets, manage client relationships, and drive successful outcomes.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will be leading all aspects of the business in your region, including:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Building a team from the ground up with the help of our recruitment team (AEs, BDRs, CS)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will be responsible for generating leads and engaging with clients while hiring your team.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You are happy to get your hands dirty, learn the market specific for your region and develop a playbook for your team.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will own the country targets and metrics and choose a niche to dominate initially and grow the pipeline.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive initiatives to grow with existing customers in the UK.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tailoring the sales playbook to the UK market.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tailor our cold mailing campaign to the UK market</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tailor our lead gen campaigns to the UK market</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Explore alternative growth strategies with the marketing team</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Be the spokesperson for the UK market</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In addition you will define the territory strategy and growth plan foreseeing all operations plans, sales implementation and generating progress reports.
