At Payhawk we are looking for passionate, self-driven individuals who want to be a part of a big success story.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p><br>Working at Payhawk as a Product Designer, you will be an integral part of the Product team. Together with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success you will work to understand business needs and product requirements. You’ll then transform that understanding into intuitive user-focused experiences, via wireframes, prototypes and other design documents. You will also help us build our design system of interaction guidelines and patterns and support the translation of these into re-usable components.</p> <p>If you enjoy diving into complex design problems and collaborating with a team to create modern, intuitive designs, we’d love to talk with you!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Closely collaborate with a cross-functional product group (Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success) to prioritize and identify product features and vision.</li> <li>Conceptualize and define a design strategy that supports customer needs and business goals. <br>Provide detailed end-end workflows and user flows illustrating the solution.</li> <li>Conduct simple design evaluations with the Product team and identify opportunities to validate designs.</li> <li>Use research insights to identify and prioritize opportunities, creating actionable design recommendations and iterations to product features.</li> <li>Sharing meaningful insight based on research efforts with other Design and Product colleagues.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years experience working on a real product.</li> <li>Curious and motivated to dive deep into complex design problems to understand their technical limitations, requirements, and user needs to get to a solution and iterate.</li> <li>Proficient in interaction design, visual design and user research techniques.</li> <li>Experience designing for mobile and web platforms.</li> <li>Agile, adaptable, and capable of delivering new products and features at startup pace.
