Hugo has spent close to two years learning how finance software actually reaches finance teams - through the integrators, fractional CFOs, and accountants they trust. He started at Pennylane, where he contributed to the development and structuring of its SME channel partner network, then helped launch Biifor, a pre-accounting and cash management platform in New Caledonia, before joining Payhawk in 2025.

Hugo brings a distinct perspective to Payhawk's partner ecosystem, shaped by his time inside the Pennylane ecosystem: a good partnership only works when it creates genuine value for the partner's own clients and fits naturally into the accounting stack they already use. Today, he applies that lens across Europe, building Payhawk's network of ERP integrators, fractional CFO firms, and accounting firms. What motivates him most is seeing a partnership become concrete: a first joint project, or a partner recommending Payhawk to a client on their own.

Hugo holds a Master in Management from NEOMA Business School, with a specialization in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking. He stays close to the field by talking weekly with integrators, accountants, and part-time CFOs about what their clients are navigating - from e-invoicing reform to ERP migrations - and writes about partnerships, ERP integrations, and how finance teams choose the software they rely on.
