Implementation AI AgentGo live in hours, not months
The agent configures Payhawk on your behalf, connecting your accounting system, mapping your existing spend policies, and issuing cards, so you have full visibility over your spend within 2 hours, without the consultancy calls and manual back-and-forth other finance rollouts require.
New finance tooling shouldn't cost you months
Every new finance system starts the same way: a project plan, months before the first control goes live, and a change-management effort afterward to get the business actually using it. The AI-in-finance initiative you know you need starts to look like every other transformation project you haven't had time for.
The agent reads your subscription and discovery context, connects your accounting system, and builds your workflows and card setup itself. What used to take weeks of manual configuration now takes hours.
Give the agent the policies, approval matrix, and chart of accounts you already run, in whatever format you have them. It maps your existing setup into Payhawk directly, so there's nothing to re-enter into someone else's import template.
You pay nothing to Payhawk, and nothing to a third-party consultant, to get live. What's usually a separate line item on every other finance rollout is already included in your subscription.
Every change that touches cards, policies, or approvals is shown to you first. You decide whether to confirm or reject it before it goes live.
See the agent build your setup, not just guide it
Instead of telling you what to click, the agent makes the change itself, so you get your spend under control faster.
The agent already knows — your CRM discovery, subscription, and kick-off calls feed straight into your implementation plan, so what you've told Payhawk once is what it works from.
Time to impact matters. As soon as you sign and log in, your setup starts, no onboarding call to book, and no queue to wait in.
Anything that touches money, cards, policies, or approvals is shown to you first, so you can confirm or reject it. Only once you approve does the agent apply it. Nothing changes on your account without your sign-off.
Adding a new entity, on its own or inside your multi-entity group, no longer means a second round of implementation fees or a second project project. The agent reuses the configuration you already run. Change a workflow, a category, or an approval threshold whenever your business changes, and the agent applies it.
Next on the roadmap, the agent monitors how you're using Payhawk and suggests ways to optimise your setup and spend, including plan features you haven't turned on yet, so you get more from what you already pay for without hunting through settings to find it.
“The Implementation Agent made what could have been a long and tedious rollout feel really manageable. Having a conversational way to work through the setup, rather than static documentation or constant back-and-forth saved us a lot of time and made the process feel far more guided. We are only 2 weeks into our implementation and are pretty much fully onboarded and live thanks to the efficiency of the Implementation Agent."

FAQ
Implementation Agent is an in-product agent that configures Payhawk on your behalf. It reads your subscription, discovery context, and any documents you upload, then builds your accounting integration, chart of accounts, approval workflows, spend policies, and cards itself, so you reach full value without waiting on an Implementation Manager or needing expensive consultants.
The agent prioritises the steps that get you operational fastest: accounting integration, card issuance, and funding, before configuring anything else. Lower-impact settings are deferred, so you're up and running before the rest of the setup finishes.
No. Your Payhawk Implementation Manager is still there for you, and you can bring them in whenever you want their expertise. What changes is who does the configuration: the agent handles steps like accounting integration, cards, policies, and approvals directly, so you're not waiting on your IM for each one. For more complex setups, such as enterprise ERPs, your IM still handles the integration step directly while the agent keeps everything else moving in parallel.
KYC is a regulatory requirement, but it's Payhawk's own Compliance team that runs it and sets the pace, not an external bank or third party. While KYC is in progress, the agent keeps every other step of your setup moving, and picks up the rest the moment it clears.
Yes. Upload your policy documents, approval matrix, or chart of accounts in whatever format you already have them, and the agent maps them into Payhawk directly, so there's nothing to re-key into an import template.
No. The same agent sets up a new entity for an existing customer, including entities inside a multi-entity group, applies configuration changes as your business changes, and reviews a live account's setup and spend to suggest improvements.
Yes. Anything that touches cards, policies, or approvals is shown to you first, so you can confirm or reject it. Nothing goes live without your approval.
Yes. It's included in all Payhawk plans at no extra cost.
During Beta, Implementation Agent supports straightforward setups on Xero, Datev, QuickBooks Online, and Exact Online. Support for more complex ERPs such as NetSuite, Sage, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics is on the roadmap, with the integration step handed to an implementation manager in the meantime.
