An integral part of Payhawk’s journey from the very beginning, Raquel has seamlessly transitioned across key roles—starting in sales, building the customer success team from the ground up, and later moving into content and product marketing. Today, she thrives as a Senior Product Marketing Manager and also leads the company’s ESG efforts. Outside of work, Raquel is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys swimming, hiking, and baking for her two children.
Raquel Orejas brings a unique perspective to fintech, driven by her passion for combining innovative SaaS solutions with sustainability and social impact. Her professional journey began at the World Bank, where she focused on climate change initiatives across Africa and Latin America. Today, Raquel applies this global insight to her role at Payhawk, leading market strategies, product launches, and sustainability initiatives.
In her current role, Raquel shapes Payhawk’s product strategy in Spain and globally, ensuring that offerings resonate with customers’ evolving needs. She collaborates closely with sales and product teams, aligning company innovations with customer goals and sustainability commitments. Motivated by the intersection of fintech and ESG, she seeks opportunities to position financial solutions as tools for positive global change.
Raquel holds a Master’s degree in International Development and has contributed to thought leadership events, such as FintechLive London. She regularly writes about Payhawk's company culture, product innovations, and ESG strategies, aiming to inform and inspire readers interested in the powerful role finance can play in achieving sustainable business practices.
