B2B payments are monetary transactions between two businesses, rather than between a business and a consumer. They can include supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, contractor payments, software subscriptions, inventory purchases, or intercompany transfers.

International B2B payments, also known as cross-border business payments, happen when those transactions involve businesses, suppliers, employees, or entities in different countries. They may also involve different currencies, payment rails, banking systems, fees, and settlement timelines.

Cross-border or international payments are when the payer and the payee are based in different countries.

How do cross-border payments work?
