Save time, support security, and more with Payhawk’s new HR integration

Boost Efficiency With Payhawk's HR Integration
Quick summary

Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), or HR providers, are a critical piece of the corporate puzzle. They help businesses keep employee details, policy and procedure information, and more together and organized. Likewise, spend management solutions are just as vital. These solutions let companies control spend and ensure everything is recorded accurately and on time.

Drum roll, please: We’re thrilled to announce that Payhawk now has 59 integrations with HR providers. Find out how these powerful integrations will simplify your processes, save your team hours, and improve your company security.

Four benefits of using our HR integration for IT, HR, and finance teams

By leveraging smart integrations, your teams can save time, move faster, encourage increased security, and reduce errors. If you’re a Payhawk customer using the HR integration? Here’s what happens:

    1. Automatic onboarding and offboarding
HR and IT teams can now a) onboard and offboard team members securely and instantly. And b) get accurate information without manual effort thanks to daily data synchronization.

With HR integrations, employee information syncs seamlessly, ensuring a smooth transition from hiring to giving access to company funds. At the same time, when a team member leaves the company, they’re automatically deleted from both systems and their cards are blocked.

    2. Improve compliance and security
With Payhawk, you can directly build spend policies into your corporate cards and automatically enforce them. Moreover, you can set up card controls (adapted to your team and company needs), including limits and freezes, etc.

With the new HR integrations, you can also onboard new employees with the appropriate spend policies and approval flows from day one. And automatic offboarding prevents company leavers from spending when they shouldn’t be.

    3. Connect all your entities at once with multi-entity management
Having one or several entities is no problem with the new integration.

Our powerful multi-entity management features allow finance teams to centralize spend control and visibility, standardize global expense settings, and build group-level workflows across multiple entities.

    4. Real-time spend visibility
Outdated data shouldn't delay business decisions. With seamlessly connected HR and spend management, you can get better, more instant insights. And use these insights to encourage better decision-making and take precise control over spending – both vital, especially in periods of high-interest rates and inflation.

How to choose the right HR integration for your organization

Selecting the right HR integration is crucial. Consider factors like compatibility, scalability, and user-friendliness to ensure it aligns with your organization's unique needs.

The same goes for spend management. At Payhawk, we operate in more than 30 countries (where businesses have very different HR systems). We use unified APIs that authenticate, normalize, and sync data across several HR API providers. This approach means we can address diverse organizational requirements and provide a user-friendly and efficient solution for businesses of all sizes.

How many and which HR providers do we integrate with?

The short answer: a lot. Chances are you’ll find your provider in the list below. If not, customers can simply reach out and we’ll get our Solution Engineering Team on the case...
ADP Workforce Now, AllianceHCM, BambooHR, Google Workspace, Gusto, HiBob, HR Cloud, Okta, OysterHR, Payfit, Paylocity, PeopleHR, Personio, Sage HR, SAP Success Factors, Sesame, Workday, Zoho people, and many more.

    HR integration implementation

Lots of our customers have asked for HR integration. So, we've made it easy for all our users to implement with a simple five-step process.

    • Selected your HR system
    • Map employees
    • Map entities
    • Check how often your data syncs
    • Forget downloading employee data from your HRIS: With the new integration this information will flow directly into our spend management platform

Payhawk HR integrations: before and after

To explain how the feature works, let’s take a look at a short example:

Company A started using Payhawk in March 2024 and has three entities, with 50 employees in each entity. A total of 150 employees. There are 20 different teams, with a manager for each team.

Company A uses HiBob as its HR system. With the new integration, Company A can onboard 150 employees into the Payhawk platform in just a few clicks, instead of uploading all employees via bulk import.

Data sync runs daily between HiBob and Payhawk, so if an employee is moved to another team, this will be reflected in Payhawk. Likewise, if an employee leaves the company, once deactivated from HiBob, this will be reflected in Payhawk by removing the employee and freezing the cards.

    Your next steps

By seamlessly integrating HR and spend management with Payhawk, you can reduce manual work and help your HR, IT and finance teams save valuable time. It’s never been so easy to onboard (and offboard) your team. Ready to give it a try? Book a demo today to unlock the full potential of our new HR integration.
