Logging into vendor portals one invoice at a time
Aikido Security is a developer-first platform that unifies code, cloud, and runtime security in one place. Before Payhawk, the finance team used Spendesk for their corporate cards and expenses, Exact Online for accounting, and an external bookkeeper to move data between the systems by hand.
The disconnect was the bottleneck. Receipts had to be exported out of Spendesk and imported into Exact Online manually, meaning the books were always a step behind. With around 200 virtual cards paying for SaaS subscriptions, finance had little real-time visibility over what was being charged, when, and why. And all of this was happening just as the team was trying to bring accounting in-house.

An agent that fetches invoices so people don't have to
Aikido moved over to Payhawk for several big reasons, including corporate cards (and virtual cards), expense management, approval workflows, and reimbursements.
The biggest reason of all, however, was the direct Exact Online integration. Now with Payhawk, GL codes, cost centres, and tracking categories sync both ways, and approved expenses post directly into the ERP with no manual export step. Plus, AI-powered OCR and default categories per supplier mean the 400+ monthly invoices code themselves to the right GL account, saving approx 40 hours of manual work.

From here, Aikido plans to keep scaling Payhawk across its entities as the company grows internationally.
