• Automated Sync: We now pull both Projects and Project Tasks from Business Central, combining them into one easy-to-use list of values.
• New Project Field: Employees can select the exact Project/Task combination directly from a single field in each expense line.
• Automated Project entries: All project data flows back into your ERP on invoices automatically creating the project entires.

Improved field visibility

We have refined the access controls to ensure employees can only see their relevant team assignments, offering an even better segregation of duties.

What’s new:

• Visibility now editable: Team members can now automatically be assigned to a team with field visibility omitted.

• Multi-value visibility: Members of multiple teams can view and edit only the values assigned to their own teams.

When importing users or reassigning roles in bulk, all non-admin-roles in the account—including platform roles and custom roles—are available for assignment to new users or for user reassignment.

Here's what's new:

• Platform roles: All platform roles are now available for assignment through the bulk-import template, for both initial assignment and reassignment.
• Custom roles: All custom roles are now available for assignment through the bulk-import template, for both initial assignment and reassignment.

New users invited to Payhawk can now be granted access to all entities or specific entities directly upon invitation, simplifying permissions management across the organization.

Here's what's new:

• Simplified access management: Admins can invite employees to the group and all connected entities at once, or limit access to specific entities only
• Granular role management: When inviting users to specific entities, roles can be customized for each entity, enabling more precise permission control

To support more detailed analysis of approval and review timelines - i.e. how quickly approvers get through their workflows - we’ve added new date fields and reorganised the filter list.

What’s new:

1. New date filters in both Expense Filters and the Export Builder:

• Return date
• Submit date
• Final approval date
• Last approval date
• Reject date

2. Two new filter sections for easier navigation: Approval and Review (previously grouped under “Expense”).

Customers can now give custom field and category managers the authority to modify and submit expenses on behalf of other employees. This enhancement streamlines approval processes and eliminates administrative bottlenecks.
