What's new at Payhawk
Internal currency transfers
Now you can move and convert money between your own currency wallets instantly, directly inside Payhawk.
Here's what's new:
- Move funds: between your same-currency accounts.
- Exchange currencies: across your different accounts.
- See live rates: before confirming your transfer.

Trip approval based on travel policy
Policy compliance is now a condition in the approval workflow, so compliant bookings no longer wait in the same queue as exceptions.
Here's what's new:
- Auto-approve within policy: Bookings that meet your policy can be approved on the spot, with no manager step.
- Route exceptions only: Bookings outside policy go to a manager or finance approver, so real exceptions stand out instead of blurring into the queue.
- No separate rule set: It runs on the policy Payhawk already evaluates, and pairs with trip types, so each type can take its own action for compliant bookings.

Multiple trip types
Admins can now define more than one trip type, so travel policy and approvals can differ by the reason for the trip instead of applying one default to everyone.
Here's what's new:
- Type-level configuration: Each trip type carries its own policy, approval flow, custom fields and visibility.
- Automatic assignment: The agent asks the reason for travel and applies the matching trip type, with no manual selection needed.
- Built around your use cases: Create types for conferences, onsite training or client visits, and give different levels in the company their own policies and approvals.

Payments Agent: ask your data a question
You can now get plain-English answers about your Payhawk data from the Payments Agent, without building a report.
- Ask, don't build: no report builder, no exports.
- Your scope or the whole org: answers respect what you're allowed to see.
- Finished answers: the agent does the work, not just the lookup.

Implementation Agent
New customers can now configure Payhawk themselves with an in-product agent that does the setup work, instead of waiting weeks on scheduled implementation calls and availability.
Here's what's new:
- Setup plan from your deal context: The agent reads what was discussed and what was bought, then builds a prioritised configuration plan for your account.
- It configures, not just advises: Connects your ERP, maps the chart of accounts, imports suppliers, drafts policies and approval flows from documents you already have, and issues cards.
- Preview and confirm: Every change is shown for review before it's applied, and your Implementation Manager stays on the account throughout.
Availability: Live for customers on Xero, QuickBooks Online, Exact and Datev that aren't part of a multi-entity group. Support for multi-entity and non-native integrations follows in the coming weeks.

Automated invoice retrieval via Agent Fetch
The Financial Controller Agent can now log into supplier portals on behalf of users, find the right invoice, and attach it to the expense automatically.
What's new:
- Users connect to a supplier portal once; the agent handles all future invoice fetching from that supplier.
- Users only need to intervene for re-authentication (login, 2FA, captcha).
Available in Labs, admins can enable it per account.

Detailed Duplicate Supplier Errors
You can now see in detail which suppliers failed to sync, why, and how many records are affected.
- Categorized errors: Split into warnings (duplicate records, sync completed) and errors (invalid email or sync already in progress).
- Full context per failure: Each error type shows the failed records, the reason for failure, and activity-feed entry.
- Automatic Clearing: Bad records clear automatically once resolved

Note builder
You can now define a template for the expense Note field so every ERP export is consistent.
- Structured notes: admins set the format once, for everyone.
- Automatic population: tokens fill in supplier, amount, owner, PO.
- ERP-ready output: no manual input, no export surprises.

Booking on behalf of others
As an admin, you can now book travel for any employee in Payhawk Travel, with their policy and approvals applied automatically.
- Correct attribution: booking lands under the traveller's account, not the booker's.
- Policy-accurate: their limits, approval chain, and cost centre, automatically.
- No workarounds: no consumer sites, no login-sharing, no month-end corrections.

Bulk Payments: Full End-to-End Experience
Bulk payments now cover the full payment spectrum — from global FX transfers to complex destination requirements — with the same efficiency your team expects.
Here's what's new:
- Global FX & destination-specific payments in bulk: Payments requiring additional country information, such as purpose codes for India, are now fully supported in bulk — with transfer requirements surfaced directly in the flow.
- Expense report support: Expense reports can now be processed in bulk alongside standard payments, removing the need to handle them separately.
- Automatic reimbursement grouping: Multiple reimbursements to the same employee are automatically consolidated into a single payment — one transfer, one fee.
Available automatically for all new and existing customers.
